Arabic Language
We also offer small-group Islamic Studies sessions.
Private lessons are ideal for learners who require greater flexibility than our scheduled classes.
You can request your preferred subject, day and time, and we will endeavour to match you with a suitable teacher based on availability.
How It Works
How It Works
Step 1: Register your interest, tell us your preferences, and pay the admission fee.
Step 2: We will review your requirements and match you with a suitable teacher, subject to availability.
Step 3: We will liaise with you and the teacher to agree a mutually convenient lesson schedule.
Step 4: Once your lessons are confirmed, we will set up your tuition payment plan.
Step 5: We will create a Google Classroom to monitor learning and a WhatsApp group to facilitate communication between parents and the teacher.

Tuition rates vary depending on whether you choose a UK-based Teacher or an International Teacher (see below).
Tuition is purchased in advance as learning credit, available in 10-hour or 20-hour packages.
UK-based Teacher
Hourly rate: £16.00
10-hour credit: £160.00
20-hour credit: £320.00
International Teacher
Hourly rate: £12.00

Learning Credit
Tuition is purchased in advance as learning credit. Lessons can only be scheduled where sufficient learning credit is available.
Learning credit is deducted after each completed lesson according to the scheduled lesson duration (30 or 60 minutes).
We will notify you when your remaining learning credit falls below 3 hours, allowing sufficient time to purchase additional credit and avoid any interruption to lessons.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled, subject to teacher availability and the required notice periods.
24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to illness.
48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson for any other reason.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests received without the required notice will be treated as late cancellations, and the full lesson duration will be deducted from the student's remaining learning credit.
If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher due to illness, an emergency or other unforeseen circumstances, no learning credit will be deducted. Where applicable, any learning credit deducted in error will be restored to the student's account.
Communication
All communication with the teacher must take place through official AVM communication channels only, namely the designated WhatsApp group and Google Classroom.
Parents, students and teachers must not communicate privately using personal telephone numbers, personal email addresses or private social media accounts.
Al-Fatiha Virtual Madrasah reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary. Any changes will be communicated to parents and students in advance.
